Case Western Reserve University and the Department of Pharmacology have a
long history of preparing students to be highly competitive for a variety of
career opportunities. Many students go on to pursue careers as esteemed
faculty members or in industry.

We'd like to congratulate Dr. Fang Xie on her recent award from the
Christopher Reeve Foundation. Dr. Xie scored in the top 4.8 percentile with
her application entitled, "Nogo receptors in CNS axon regeneration failure:
a genetic analysis", and was awarded a two year award of $120,000. This is
an extreme accomplishment for one of our new graduates.
