Kinase inhibitors as chemotherapeutics, DNA replication, cell cycle regulation, and drug resistance in cancer.
Commonly used lab techniques
Sequencing gels, ATPase assay, bacterial and mammalian cell culture, protein and DNA purifications, and various viability and inhibition assays.
Why I chose Case's pharmacology department
I chose to come to Case because my undergraduate mentor strongly recommended the program to me, and I liked all the cancer related research going on here.
Where I see myself in the future
I would like to work in the industry, and eventually start some small pharma.
Hobbies and outside interests
I enjoy mountain biking and swimming. I also like to read classic
literature and watch monster movies.
