CENTER FOR MEMBRANE BIOLOGY
The Center for Membrane Biology seeks to form a multidisciplinary research community
at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine that fosters independent
and shared research activities and initiatives.
A goal of the center is to advance the field of membrane biology by introducing
state-of the-art methodologies from structural biology, molecular biology, biochemistry,
microscopy, electrophysiology, and genetics to a broad range of investigators. In
addition, the center will pursue opportunities for mutual training, joint applications
for new equipment and shared facilities, and grants and other funding sources to
support individual investigators and projects involving collaborative research.
